I’m about to run out of the house and drive to the City for Comcast so I’ll make this real fast. Both sides agreed to a 24-hour extension in the NFL labor talks. This is good. It means, probably, there is give on both sides. Maybe owners are dropping some of their loopy demands about players giving back money; maybe players agree to an 18-game schedule. Who knows? But this indicates there are some moderate people on both sides. I’ll write my Friday column about all this when I return home from the TV show.
