As long as I’m getting things off my chest this morning, here’s something else. Opening Day means Opening Day. Baseball always should start with a day game not a night game. Come on.

Tonight the A’s opener is a night game, as usual. I understand, tv ratings are better at night. But for one DAY it should be a day game to honor baseball tradition. It should be in the sun.

The Giants starting at 5 pm last night was weird, neither day nor night.

Next Friday the Giants home opener is a good old day game. I applaud that.
