12:53 p.m. Barry Bonds enters courtroom. Judge reads note from jury. They want a transcript of digital recording between Steve Hoskins and Greg Anderson from 2003. Defense does not want that because transcript was not entered in evidence. Judge says if they play the recording it would be played in open court. Defense really doesn’t want jury to get full transcript. Judge says she won’t give jury full transcript. Judge says if they play the tape they should play the parts that were previously played.

1:06 jury enters. Judge tells jury written transcript is not in evidence; the recording is. She says she can play tape in open court – play what they previously heard. But they can’t have transcript because it wasn’t put in evidence.

Judge says they can see transcript of portion that is being played while it’s being played, but they can’t take transcript back to jury room.

Judge says she’ll play tape in court.

I hope I got this right. I understand the infield fly rule better than I understand this stuff.
