Sure, Barry Zito pitched OK for a while on Sunday. He is capable of pitching OK for a while. And sure he lost his stuff, such as it is, all at once. That’s what he does. If you want to assign blame — and I admit it’s a little early to assign blame but what the heck — well, if you want to assign blame for Zito giving it up and for the Giants losing to the Cardinals point to the manager Bruce Bochy.
