Iggy just made a cogent comment about Gary Plummer and I’d like to share it with you. He said Plummer learned about the reality of life most people live with every day. Take me for example. I’m a working stiff — like most of you — and I watch what I say because I know if I say or write or do the wrong thing I might get fired. Fact of life.

Plummer didn’t understand that I guess. He thought he was still a famous linebacker who would be excused from a bunch of stuff if he played well — I’m not saying Plummer got excused from a bunch of stuff. I’m talking in generalities.

Anyway, Plummer isn’t a famous linebacker anymore. He’s just like you and me, a working guy who needs to act carefully to preserve his job. Maybe he learned that lesson now.
