Grant interviewed Ryan Vogelsong Thursday morning and wrote a column for CSN BayArea about him. Grant is new at interviewing real live people and new at turning interviews into written pieces. I was not with him when he interviewed Vogelsong. He was the first writer in the clubhouse — he figures four players were around. And he got Vogelsong to open up after some initial resistance — fairly common among baseball players, more common among Giants than A’s.
