It’s 10:30 Saturday morning and it’s raining steadily at AT&T Park. No batting practice. The infield is covered by the big white tarp that billows in the wind like a sail. Guys in orange uniforms are brushing water off the tarp. Someone with an umbrella is walking on the outfield grass. People are waiting outside in the rain because among other things it’s Cody Ross bobblehead day. It’s a nice day to curl up in bed with a book. I have no idea if they’ll play this game.
