I ran into Billy Beane after the A’s beat Kansas City 8-4 on Thursday. We sat down privately and talked about where his team is and where he would like it to go. I expressed my misgivings about the Oakland A’s and he rebutted me. It’s up to you to decide if he was convincing. He also ribbed me a little.
