The 49ers and SFPD issued far reaching new rules and guidelines for 49ers’ home games. They also said the chaos at Saturday’s game was unusual, actually unheard of. I believe them. I go to all Niner home games and I don’t remember two shootings in the postgame parking lot or any shootings for that matter. Do you? Many of you want to blame Jed York for what happened. I believe that is short sighted. I don’t think he could have prevented thugs from sneaking guns into the parking lot. I am going to link to an Eric Branch piece about the new rules.
