The 49ers just announced their 53-man roster. I was gratified to see that linebacker Blake Costanzo made the cut. Why? Because he went to the same undergrad school I did — Lafayette College in Easton, Pa. Go Leopards!

I have not met Costanzo and I’m sure he does not know of my existence. But I know about him. We can get together and sing Lafayette songs and tell each other how much we dislike Lehigh. Good for you, Blake Costanzo.
