The Santa Rosa Press Democrat just posted Grant’s Thursday article on Grampa. In this case, Grampa is Donte Whitner of the Niners. He’s a young guy but he has incredible wisdom and gravitas, and some of the sportswriters refer to him as Grampa as a mark of respect. It just so happens that Whitner has two personalites, one on the field and one off the field, both distinct and impressive. Grant interviewed Whitner about both of him.
