The Santa Rosa Press Democrat just posted Grant’s article on poor Kyle Williams. Many people have been unkind to Williams. They say he lost the game with that fumble in overtime which set up the New York Giants’ game-winning field goal. Williams did not lose the game. The 49ers lost the game. Grant wrote a perceptive article about Williams and he got to speak to Williams and he got to see Williams in his grief. I like this kind of writing.
