I had the pleasure of watching Yoenis Cespedes in the A’s home opener Friday night. No one knows for sure if he’ll be a great major leaguer but he’s sure exciting and he did hit a 462-foot home run to left field which hit off the facade of the lower luxury suites, and when his turn was near in the batting order the fans, writers and almost certainly the Mariners were aware of it.
