The Santa Rosa Press Democrat just posted my Tuesday column. I wrote about Morris Claiborne, a highly-regarded cornerback from LSU who soon will enter the NFL draft. Two things make him noteworthy. 1) He is a very good player and he may be drafted in the top ten. 2) He scored a four on the Wonderlic Test, an intelligence test given to draft prospects by the NFL. Four is incredibly low. In the column, I challenge the assumption that he is a “dumb jock,” and I fault the NFL for not protecting the privacy of his score. To read the column, click here.
