I just popped into the A’s broadcast booth to say hello to Ken Korach who returned from surgery Tuesday night. It is so good to see and hear Ken. His partner Vince Cotroneo — great guy, terrific announcer — said to me with a twinkle in his eye, “I’ve been all year and you didn’t come in to welcome me.” I said, “You didn’t have surgery.” We both laughed. I like the A’s announcers. And now the world is right.
