This whole deal in the major leagues with drug cheating is disturbing, doubly disturbing for a sports columnist like me who must write about it. I am 100 percent against drug cheating and want severe penalties for those caught. But I understand many reasonable people disagree with me. So here’s your assignment. If you think there should be no penalties for use of performance-enhancing drugs in baseball, please write why you hold your position. I promise not to argue with you.
