The Santa Rosa Press Democrat just posted my Friday column which I wrote at the Barry Bonds trail in Federal court, San Francisco. It was an interesting day which dealt with warning symptoms of steroid over-use including hair growth, 'roid rage, testical shrinkage, no known affects to the scrotum etc. [...]

The scrotum just got a mention at the Bonds trial, specifically effects of steroids. Defense attorney: Does the scrotum diminish in size with the use of anabolic steroids? Expert witness: No, it does not. OK, now that we've got that settled.

Defense attorney moving to have expert's testimony about human growth hormone stricken from record because there's not enough scientific evidence to support his assertions. I could have sworn Barry Bonds just fell asleep. I could be wrong. Maybe he just closed his eyes a long time. The cross examination about roids right now is a real snoozer.
