Carlos Beltran hit another triple today and he appears — on the basis of a brief sample — to be The Man the Giants desperately needed. He is a smooth player (I think of Duke Snider) who effortlessly does big things. He also is quite intelligent and recently gave advice to Andres Torres and Pablo Sandoval about hitting.
