Do you fear what might happen to Whiteside (suspended)?

He’s in a hard spot there. He’s got all kinds of sides to cover. He’s trying to protect the pitcher. If anybody knows Whitey he’s not a fighter but he’s going to protect his pitcher.

Are you expecting any carryover today?

I don’t think so. I’d be surprised. I suspect this game might be played under warning but we haven’t been told that. Usually when they do issue a warning then they’ll say you can still pitch inside.

Are Phillies your biggest rivals now?

Yeah, I’d say, sure. With what happened last year. You’ve got two very good teams, great pitching, playing good baseball. That got away from us last night, the good baseball part. It creates a lot of interest. Both clubs have a tremendous following. You got to Philadelphia, they’re sold out; we’re sold out here. Fans are really behind their team.
