I just read that a man ran onto the golf course during the Fry’s Open and threw a hotdog at Tiger Woods. The way the articles have been written it’s unclear if the man’s main offense was running onto the course or throwing the hotdog.

FYI, the man is from Santa Rosa — that’s what one article said.

So, please be on the alert all you Santa Rosans. There is a hotdog-throwing maniac in your midst.

The article did not say if it was a naked hotdog or if there was a bun involved. This is an important distinction and we need to know.

Also, we need to know if it was all beef, if it was kosher and if there was relish and mustard. Maybe the guy thought Tiger was hungry and needed a bite to raise his blood sugar level. He sure wasn’t playing so well.

My theory: The guy, still unidentified, wanted to be in the news and acted like a real hotdog to get attention. He sure seems like a nut to me. Although all cities have nuts, Santa Rosa nuts may be more creative than nuts from other cities.
