I don’t understand the NBA board of governors (bored of governors) vetoing the three-team trade that would have sent Chris Paul to the Lakers. I really don’t.

The trade would have benefited all three teams. The Hornets would have gotten something for Paul — after this season he can just walk away.

This veto sets a precedent. If the league doesn’t like a trade it can veto it. Sorry that’s not how it works.

Now the three teams are appealing.

Of all the major leagues, the NBA is the biggest joke. Sometimes it’s just a notch above professional wrestling.
