On the Blitz Wednesday night (on Comcast), one question was: Should the Giants trade a pitcher for a hitter?

Good question. And the Giants certainly need a hitter.

But I said, no, don’t trade a pitcher — it would probably be Tim Lincecum. The Giants ARE pitching. That is what they are built around. You trade Lincecum and you get weaker and you don’t get equal value in return.
