Brandon Crawford is batting second for the Giants. This is interesting. He is batting .217, not high. But Bruce Bochy just said he has been swinging the bat better — true.

Here is the Giants infield today: first base Brandon Belt, second base Charlie Culberson, shortstop Crawford, third base Emmanuel Burriss.

Sorry, but this does not have the gravitas of a World-Series-winning infield.
